During a training trip in Nagoya city (Japan) to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese women's team had their first friendly match against the Aichi Toho University women's team and won 2-0.

In the second match against Shizuoka Sangyo University, coach Mai Duc Chung lined up the following team: Tran Thi Kim Thanh; Luong Thi Thu Thuong, Le Thi Diem My, Tran Thi Thu; Tran Thi Duyen, Ngan Thi Van Su, Thai Thi Thao, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha; Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Nguyen Thi Truc Huong and Pham Hai Yen.

The opponent pressed quickly and fiercely, making the first half quite tense. In the 40th minute, the opposing team took advantage of the opportunity to open the score, putting Vietnam in a position to chase. In the second half, the opposing team continued to score another goal in the 47th minute.
In the final minutes of the match, the team created more dangerous opportunities. The Vietnamese team's attacking efforts were rewarded in the 85th minute when Truc Huong scored to reduce the score to 1-2 with a smart move and accurate shot. This was also the final score of the match.
Sharing after the match, Truc Huong said: “After two matches, I have improved my fitness, skills and confidence. If I get to play in the upcoming SEA Games, my personal goal is to play well, show my ability to help the team achieve the best results.”

On November 28, the team will play their final match against Shizuoka SSU Bonita Club. These will be important tests to help the coaching staff evaluate their performance, test their lineup and improve their skills before aiming to defend their achievements at the 33rd SEA Games.
After completing the training program, the team will return to Ho Chi Minh City on November 30 and stay for two more days to adapt to the weather and temperature conditions in the area.
On December 2, the team will move to Chonburi (Thailand), ready to embark on the journey to conquer the 33rd SEA Games.
