From early morning, the Border Guard Station's working groups went to each coastal area, aquaculture area and beach to inform people about the storm situation, instruct people to reinforce their houses, collect fishing gear, and move boats to safe shelters. The unit used loudspeakers and local broadcasting systems to distribute more than 500 leaflets warning of risks and directly met with nearly 300 households to propagate response measures when the storm makes landfall.
