The delegation included comrade Phung Quang Hoi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Dong Kinh Ward Party Committee; leaders of a number of provincial agencies, departments and branches.
During the program, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Ms. Ly Thi Thao, born in 1971, wife of martyr Tran Xuan Nam, in block 5, Dong Kinh ward and Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh, born in 1960, war invalid, in block 11, Dong Kinh ward.
At the families, the Provincial Party Secretary kindly asked about their health and family life, expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids and martyrs in the struggle to protect the Fatherland, maintain security and order in the area and affirmed that our Party and State always care about and remember the great contributions of heroic martyrs, families of policy beneficiaries, and people with meritorious services.
He hoped that families would continue to promote traditions, propagate and mobilize their children and communities to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, strive to study, practice, contribute, and actively participate in local patriotic emulation movements, contributing to building Lang Son homeland to become more and more prosperous.
He also requested the Party Committee, government, sectors and organizations of Dong Kinh ward to pay attention to and take care of the lives of policy families and meritorious people in the area with specific and practical actions, contributing to the good implementation of social security and promoting the tradition of "remembering the source of drinking water" of the nation.
