(ABO) On the afternoon of July 18, the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune, Dong Thap province held the first Executive Committee meeting for the 2021-2026 term. The conference announced the Decision on the establishment of the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune; Decision on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, President and Vice President of the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune for the 2021-2026 term.

Accordingly, the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune was established on the basis of merging the Women's Union of Vinh Binh town, Thanh Nhut commune and Thanh Tri commune; the Executive Committee consists of 23 members; the Standing Committee has 5 members. Comrade Huynh Thi Thuy Lien was appointed to hold the position of President of the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune for the 2021-2026 term.

The conference also approved the draft operating regulations of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune, term 1, 2021 - 2026, and the work program to carry out the tasks of the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune in the last 6 months of 2025.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union also discussed and acknowledged the advantages, difficulties, and good practices in the operation of the Union at the grassroots level related to the situation of members, solutions to gather members, and forms of propaganda to female members. At the same time, it provided guidance on solutions to overcome difficulties, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the Union's operations in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Thai Ngoc Bao Tram suggested that after this conference, the Standing Committee of the Commune Women's Union continue to promote its proactive role, continue to review additional indicators to complete the Union's work program, stabilize the organizational network, review key personnel of branches and women's groups; continue to promote and accelerate the application of information technology and digital transformation to improve the quality and efficiency of the Union's activities; pay attention to monitoring and criticizing, promoting the role of women in implementing Resolution 35 on fighting and refuting the distorted arguments of hostile forces; coordinate the implementation and preparation for the Commune Party Congress, the Commune Fatherland Front Congress, the 1st Commune Women's Union Congress, etc.
