At the conference, representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department announced the decision on personnel reassignment. According to Decision No. 163-QĐ/TU dated January 12, 2026, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided that Comrade Nguyen Minh Hieu, a member of the Provincial Party Committee, would cease to hold the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology; and would be reassigned and appointed to the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the position of Secretary of the Tan Uyen Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, effective from January 15, 2026.
Presenting the decision and giving a speech assigning the task, Comrade Ha Quang Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - congratulated the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Tan Uyen Commune Party Committee, and congratulated Comrade Nguyen Minh Hieu on being entrusted with this new responsibility by the Provincial Party Standing Committee. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Comrade Nguyen Minh Hieu is a well-trained and mature cadre who has held many positions. Throughout his career, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hieu has always strived to excel, strictly adhering to the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, maintaining political integrity, ethics, and lifestyle; developing his abilities and strengths, uniting and rallying cadres, and consistently fulfilling his assigned responsibilities and duties.
Emphasizing that Tan Uyen has great potential for developing commercial agriculture with outstanding strengths in tea, fruit trees, and aquaculture; favorable natural conditions; increasingly invested transportation infrastructure; and potential for tourism development… in response to the trust and expectations of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, in his new position, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Comrade Nguyen Minh Hieu to continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility and the pioneering and exemplary role of a leading and managing official; quickly adapt to the new job; constantly strive to learn, train, and improve his skills in all aspects; actively stay close to the grassroots, accumulate work experience; apply science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation… in leadership and management; be humble, open-minded, learn from, and build upon the achievements of previous leaders, making many contributions to building the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee into a truly united and cohesive collective. The goal is for Tan Uyen commune to become a moderately developed commune in the province by 2030.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that the members of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Party Committee's Standing Board, and the departments, agencies, and mass organizations of Tan Uyen commune continue to uphold the tradition of unity and create all conditions and provide assistance to Comrade Nguyen Minh Hieu to successfully fulfill the important responsibilities and tasks assigned to him.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hieu, the newly appointed Secretary of the Tan Uyen Commune Party Committee, expressed his honor at being trusted and appointed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Tan Uyen Commune Party Committee. This is also a heavy responsibility before the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the commune. For him personally, this is not only a recognition of his work but, more importantly, a political task assigned to him in the new development phase of the locality.
Coming from a working environment in the field of state management of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation, and being directly assigned to work at the grassroots level, this represents both a transfer of work position and a new requirement for thinking, leadership methods, and work style. Comrade Nguyen Minh Hieu pledged to continuously learn, train, quickly grasp practical realities, and stay close to the grassroots to successfully complete assigned tasks. Along with that, he will continue to uphold and promote the tradition of unity and solidarity within the Party Committee; together with the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, he will strictly implement the principle of democratic centralism, uphold the exemplary responsibility of the leader, and create high consensus in leadership and task implementation. He will strictly adhere to the motto "close to the people, understand the people, respect the people, and serve the people"; all policies and resolutions must stem from reality and meet the legitimate interests of the people.
Looking ahead, the newly appointed Secretary of the Tan Uyen Commune Party Committee also hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership, and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee; the coordination and support of departments and agencies; the unity and sharing of the Party Committee Executive Board; and especially the consensus and support of all cadres, Party members, and people in the commune.
