On behalf of the provincial leaders, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed the working delegation to visit and work in Lao Cai province, and at the same time, gave an overview of Lao Cai province after the merger.


At the reception, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan in general, between Provincial General Hospital No. 1 and Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital, Japan in particular.
At the same time, highly appreciating the results achieved in the past time, the two sides have increased the exchange activities, shared professional experiences, scientific research and improved the qualifications of medical staff; transferred techniques, supported the application of advanced medical models; increased patient consultation activities (direct and remote support); cooperated in developing a model of health care for the elderly.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital continue to expand and strengthen cooperation, and take turns sending doctors and nurses to support hospitals in the province. At the same time, create favorable conditions for Lao Cai province to send doctors and nurses to study at the Hospital. He also affirmed that the province will visit Japan in the near future to promote medical cooperation between the two sides.



In his reply, Professor Tanaka Yoshihide - Director of Medical Services, Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital, Head of the delegation, thanked the Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee for his warm and thoughtful welcome to the delegation. Professor Tanaka Yoshihide highly agreed with the proposal of Lao Cai province and affirmed that he would continue to cooperate closely; at the same time, he would send doctors and nurses to support hospitals in the province, contributing to improving health care in the area.

It is known that the working trip of the Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital delegation in Lao Cai is expected to last for 9 days (from November 28 to December 6, 2025). During their stay in Lao Cai, the delegation will work with the Provincial Department of Health and the Provincial General Hospital No. 1 on a number of cooperation contents between the two hospitals in 2026; go on field trips, participate in training, and have professional consultations on a number of neurological cases...
