Discover : 4 experiences to try

1) Admire the grasslands and lakes

Surrounded by rolling hills, the grasslands open up to clear lakes. In the morning, the air is cool and clear; in the afternoon, the slanted sunlight highlights the green of the grass and the gray-white of the sheep. Just walking slowly on the grass, watching the mountains reflected on the water, you will have a truly peaceful afternoon.

2) Take pictures and interact with the sheep

An Hoa sheep field has hundreds of sheep roaming freely – a great setting for countryside photos. Note that sheep are quite shy; to take photos smoothly, ask the shepherds to help gather the sheep or feed them with nem leaves. When the sheep gather, take quick photos to keep the close and natural moment.

3) Hunting for the moment the sheep return to the pen

In the late afternoon, as the sun sets behind the mountains, shepherds herd their sheep back to the pen. The sound of bleating, the grass blowing gently, the golden light covering the scene – this is a particularly suitable time to capture emotional photos of nomadic life.

4) Learn about sheep herding

In addition to taking photos, take time to observe the local people's lifestyle: how they graze, call sheep, and bring them back to the pen; ask questions to learn more about sheep farming and the rustic lifestyle in the countryside. Locals are friendly, willing to guide and share when you respect their working space.
