Dong Da competes to welcome the Fatherland Front Congress

At the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da Ward Tran Thi Minh Xuan reviewed the glorious tradition of the Front, affirming that this is a symbolic socio -political organization of the great national unity bloc and a solid bridge between the Party, the State and the people.

Promoting that tradition, after more than 4 months of implementing the urban government model, the ward has achieved many remarkable results. In particular, administrative reform work associated with digital transformation has reached the top 3/126 communes and wards of the city. The whole ward currently has only 14 near-poor households. The movement to build cultural families and cultural residential areas has achieved good results with over 97% of households achieving the title of "Cultural Family".

In the fundraising work, the spirit of mutual love was spread strongly. In just over 20 days of launching, the Ward Relief Fund collected more than 2.5 billion VND, reaching the top among 126 communes and wards in the city. The Ward "For the Poor" Fund also collected 454 million VND, of which the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front supported the "For the Poor" Fund and the city's social security with 300 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Da Ward Party Committee Dinh Nguyen Manh acknowledged that the above results are the strength of the great national unity bloc and the effective coordination between the Fatherland Front and organizations in the political system.

To contribute to the work of ensuring social security and realizing the goal of making people happy, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee called on each cadre, party member and people to actively propagate and mobilize support. The goal is to create a source of funding to carry out social security activities in 2026, focusing first on taking care of people's lives during the Lunar New Year, with the determination of "leaving no one behind" and building Dong Da ward to develop comprehensively, "rich, beautiful, modern, civilized, affectionate, happy people".

At the ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the ward launched a peak emulation campaign to welcome the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels and promote the mobilization of support for the "For the Poor" Fund, phase 2, 2025, from November 13 to December 31, 2025.

Within the framework of the program, the leaders of Dong Da ward also awarded funds to support solidarity houses, support disadvantaged families and commend and reward groups with outstanding achievements in fundraising work.
