Dong Giang organizes National Great Unity Day in 2025

Dong Giang commune was established on the basis of merging the four communes of Ta Lu, Za Hung, A Rooi and Prao town (old Dong Giang district), with a population of 8,870 people.

In recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has actively propagated and mobilized people to participate in socio -economic development, patriotic emulation movements, Party and government building, and strengthening the great solidarity bloc in the locality.

Currently, the average income per capita in the commune is about 45 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate is 31.3% (equivalent to 797 households) and strives to reduce to 24.7% by the end of 2025.

The movement to build cultural life in residential areas and preserve national cultural identity was promoted; sports activities, community culture and patriotic emulation movements were actively responded to by the people.

At the festival, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Giang commune, Le Thi Xuan, called on people, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, agencies, units and businesses in the area to support compatriots affected by natural disasters.

Responding to the call, groups, individuals and businesses donated more than 55 million VND in cash, helping people in disaster-hit areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

On this occasion, Bac Trung Nam Seedlings Company Limited supported 15 villages of the commune with 15,000 areca seedlings to help people develop agricultural production and increase income.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune awarded certificates of merit to 12 exemplary households for sustainable poverty escape by 2025.
