On November 28, 2025, the 5-year Review Conference of the "Silent Contributions" Communication Program (2021 - 2025) and the Award Ceremony of the "Silent Contributions" Writing Contest 2025, co-organized by the Economic and Urban Newspaper with ActionAid International in Vietnam (ActionAid Vietnam), the Vietnam Social Security Program and Project Support Fund (AFV), took place in Hanoi.
Speaking at the conference, Editor-in-Chief of Economic and Urban Newspaper Nguyen Thanh Loi said that over the past 5 years, from a small initiative, the communication program "Silent Contributions" has expanded into a forum connecting the press, managers and people, aiming for the values of humanity, fairness and sustainable development. Many stories and characters discovered through the program have become a source of inspiration, spreading the spirit of sharing, arousing faith in the good things in life.
Mr. Ta Viet Anh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fund for Social Security Programs and Projects in Vietnam (AFV) informed that in more than 35 years of implementing programs and projects in Vietnam, ActionAid International in Vietnam has actively contributed to poverty reduction and sustainable development in Vietnam, supporting disadvantaged communities to build a better life, using community-based solutions, supported and recognized by local authorities and people.

For AFV Fund, since its establishment, its mission has always been to support vulnerable groups in society, including women, children, people with disabilities and people in difficulty.
“For 5 years, the 3 units have persistently carried out communication activities to raise awareness among stakeholders, including workers (especially female workers), employers, and the community about the challenges in providing decent work in the formal and informal sectors in the context of economic development towards digital transformation, with many difficulties and challenges,” said Mr. Ta Viet Anh.
In 2025, the Silent Contributions Communication Program has proposed the main theme of raising awareness among people and relevant agencies on environmental protection, the impacts of climate change on people's lives; difficulties in production and business, economic inflation, regional and international integration, climate change, opportunities and challenges created by the digital economy... The Organizing Committee has organized 2 seminars with the topics: Solutions to ensure livelihoods for workers after natural disasters, Natural disaster risk insurance for workers.
Also at the preliminary conference, the Organizing Committee held the Silent Contributions 2025 journalism award ceremony. According to the Organizing Committee, after nearly 7 months of launching, there were 581 entries (including 450 professional entries and 131 non-professional entries....).
After 2 rounds of finals and preliminary rounds, for the professional competition, the Jury of the "Silent Contributions" contest in 2025 selected 10 quality works that met the requirements of the contest to enter the final round to award prizes to 10 authors/groups of authors (1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 3 Third Prizes, 5 Encouragement Prizes). In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 collective prizes and certificates to 10 works that entered the final round.
