In order to support couples who are struggling in their journey to "find a child", Hanoi Infertility Hospital continues to organize "Golden Week 2024: Lighting up the dream of infertile families" from May 6-19, 2024. In particular, 15 couples in especially difficult circumstances, in remote areas across the country will be exempted from 100% of the cost of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) with the form of file review.
Doctors perform egg retrieval to perform in vitro fertilization for infertile patients.
Dr. Le Thi Thu Hien, the hospital's professional director, said: "The journey of "finding a child" has to go through many barriers, both financial and psychological, especially for families with long-term infertility, families with especially difficult circumstances, the dream of holding a baby in their arms is even more distant. Therefore, every year we try to offer the most practical support packages for infertile families with difficult circumstances. This year, we will give away 15 support packages that cover 100% of the cost of In Vitro Fertilization - IVF and 105 other support packages through the form of reviewing documents. We hope to convey more confidence and motivation to infertile families on their journey to find a child."
Having received a free examination and a discount voucher when using IVF services during the Golden Week 2023, Ms. Ha Thi Son (32 years old, in Tuyen Quang ) is currently 38 weeks pregnant and is waiting for her baby girl to be born after 7 years of waiting. Ms. Son shared: "For infertile patients like me, the treatment process is really costly. Not being able to have children also puts my husband and I under psychological pressure. Although I live far from Hanoi and receive treatment in the province, during my pregnancy, I regularly received support and guidance on how to take care of the fetus at any time from the doctors."
"In addition to the desire to share the financial burden for patients, above all, we want to inspire and give confidence to infertile families to overcome difficulties on their journey to find children. We believe that with the perseverance and determination of couples, along with the utmost efforts of the hospital's medical team, the sweet fruit will definitely come, and the baby will come home," said Dr. Pham Van Huong, Deputy Director of the hospital.
