Currently, the Commune Women's Union has 21 women's associations, with nearly 3,000 grassroots members. Every year, the Union is assigned the target of reducing 2 poor and near-poor households headed by women. Therefore, the Union assigns to review and understand each poor and near-poor household to have appropriate poverty reduction measures, avoiding the situation of re-poverty or poverty arising, with the determination to reduce as much as possible, not leaving any poor person behind.

Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Nhon Ninh Commune, Nguyen Thi Xuyen, said: "After understanding the circumstances of each poor and near-poor household, the Union will classify them to implement poverty reduction models. Specifically, women of working age who are still able to work will be supported with capital and seeds to develop their household economy or introduced to jobs at fruit farms in and outside the commune. As for single women with incurable diseases and no longer able to work, we will mobilize philanthropists to regularly visit, give gifts, and build charity houses. Children in especially difficult circumstances will be sponsored."

The commune Women's Union has adopted us, supported us with 1 million VND/month and necessities, and we are very happy! At the beginning of the new school year, the teachers also bought books and clothes for us. When we encountered difficulties, the teachers immediately helped us. Now my sister has entered university, without the help of the teachers, we would not have been able to study "thoroughly" like today."
