In the 2022-2025 term, identifying supporting youth start-ups as a key task, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to issue Plan No. 284/KH-UBND (dated November 14, 2023) on supporting youth start-ups in the 2023-2030 period in Quang Ninh province. The major orientations of the Central Government on private economic development, innovation, and digital transformation are specified in many programs and plans implemented annually. Dialogue activities between youth and provincial leaders are maintained regularly, creating an open forum for the voices of the young generation to be promptly heard, thereby promptly resolving concerns about capital, market, technology, and policies.
Communication work on creative startups has been promoted. From 2023 to now, more than 600 news, articles, and reports have been posted on the media platforms of the Union and Association; the column "One startup face every week" on the fanpage " Quang Ninh Youth" has become a familiar address to introduce examples of young people doing good business and effective creative economic models. Many young entrepreneurs of the province have been honored with major national awards such as: Luong Dinh Cua Award, Red Star, Outstanding Youth Startup... which have inspired and aroused the spirit and strong will to start a business in young people.
In particular, the contest "Creative Startup Ideas of Quang Ninh Province" over the past 8 years has attracted hundreds of new and unique startup projects in many fields and professions; truly becoming a useful playground, helping to promote and spread the entrepreneurial spirit, especially among students. Not only limited to the fields of information technology and e-commerce, the projects also extend to green agriculture , sustainable tourism, medical services and environmental protection solutions... In the context of digital transformation, young people continue to be guided in detail on clean agricultural production techniques, livestream sales skills, business administration, and marketing on digital platforms.
In the 2023-2025 period, the grassroots Youth Union organized 45 training courses, contributing to improving the thinking and entrepreneurial capacity of young people. By the end of October 2025, the outstanding loan balance entrusted by the Youth Union through the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies reached 684,518 billion VND, contributing to supporting thousands of young people to expand production, bringing about clear results.
Along with that, the important support of the movement is the increasingly expanding startup network. The Young Entrepreneurs Association and investment and startup clubs in the province attract nearly 1,000 members in many fields and professions; creating an environment for young entrepreneurs to share experiences and support young people to realize their startup ideas. From here, product consumption support activities are also promoted.
According to Chairman of Quang Ninh Investment and Startup Club Pham Quang Tung, investment and startup clubs in the whole province have been proactive in planning activities and implementing specific action programs, and at the same time have many support and exchange activities to increase connectivity, creating a united and mutually supportive startup community.
“We maintain connections with departments, branches, localities, units and organizations to promptly support and resolve difficulties in the operations of member businesses. Actively support businesses and start-up entrepreneurs, build corporate culture, innovate technology, improve competitiveness, build brands, expand markets; promptly commend and reward individuals who have contributed to the province's start-up movement...” - Mr. Tung affirmed.
In the coming time, the Youth Union at all levels will continue to improve the infrastructure to support startups, develop online consulting platforms, expand the network of consultants and investors and organize more practical experience activities. We believe that with the leadership, connection and care of the Youth Union - Association, the creative spirit of Quang Ninh youth will continue to be aroused, contributing to the successful completion of the province's socio-economic development goals in the new period.
