The local economy continues to maintain its growth momentum; the economic structure is shifting towards leveraging agricultural strengths in conjunction with trade, services, and small-scale industries. Agricultural production plays a fundamental role, with a total grain output of approximately 7,000 tons, ensuring solid local food security.

Livestock farming has developed steadily, with no major disease outbreaks; many household and farm-based economic models have yielded practical results, contributing to improved incomes for the people.

A prominent highlight in Dong Hy commune's development plan for 2025 is its budget management and administration. Specifically, state budget revenue in the area reached 202,279 million VND, exceeding the allocated budget by 82,302 million VND, equivalent to 246% of the plan.

This result not only reflects proactive and decisive leadership and management, but also creates important resources for the locality to invest in infrastructure development, ensure social welfare, and serve long-term development goals.

In addition, the commune focused on directing and accelerating the implementation and disbursement of public investment capital for 18 projects that have been decentralized to the commune; at the same time, it closely coordinated with investors to resolve obstacles and expedite compensation and land clearance for 8 non-budgetary investment projects currently being implemented in the area.

By December 31, 2025, the disbursement rate of public investment capital will reach 93% of the plan, contributing to promoting infrastructure development and creating momentum for growth.

The socio-cultural sector continues to achieve many positive results. The poverty rate according to the multidimensional standard will be 1.91% by the end of 2025, a decrease of 0.24% compared to the beginning of the year. Social security policies and care for policy beneficiary families, war veterans, and disadvantaged households have been fully and promptly implemented, especially during Tet (Lunar New Year).

The movement "All people unite to build a cultured way of life" has spread widely, with over 98.8% of households achieving the title of "Cultured Family".

Administrative reforms and digital transformation have been accelerated, with over 94% of administrative procedures being processed correctly and ahead of schedule. National defense and security, as well as social order and safety, have been maintained, creating a stable environment for socio-economic development.

Entering 2026, building on the achievements already made, Dong Hy commune has set the goal of comprehensive and sustainable development, with improving the quality of life for its people as the central focus.

The locality continues to mobilize and effectively utilize resources, attract social investment; focus on building infrastructure, especially transportation infrastructure; and accelerate administrative reforms to create a favorable environment for stable production and business development.

The commune strives to achieve an 11% increase in the total value of local products; a grain production output of 7,680 tons, a fresh tea leaf output of 13,170 tons; and the planting of at least 50 hectares of new concentrated forest.

The target for state budget revenue in the area is 136,355 million VND, and the average income is 69.6 million VND per person per year.

Education , healthcare, and culture are given coordinated attention; the rate of people participating in health insurance reaches 96% or higher; the commune maintains its status as meeting national criteria for healthcare; over 95% of households achieve the title of "Culturally Advanced Family"...
