Simultaneous start of pumping stations for flood control in Yen Mo district

Yen Mo District Irrigation Works Exploitation Branch is currently managing 24 pumping stations with 110 pumps, total capacity of 317,300 m3/h serving irrigation for over 7 thousand hectares of rice, residential areas and industrial parks.

Through actual inspection and assessment, 100% of the existing pumping stations and pumps managed by the Branch are operating well, operating at full design capacity, and the sluice gates, transformer stations, and high-voltage lines supplying power to the pumps meet requirements.

In recent years, pumping stations have been given attention for repairing and replacing equipment and machinery, thereby improving their drainage capacity. Human resources at pumping stations have been increased to ensure operation and repair of machinery when situations arise.

The simultaneous test operation of pumps at pumping stations aims to promptly detect damage, thereby continuing maintenance to meet the requirements of flood and storm prevention in 2025, limiting damage to production and people due to flooding in the district.
