Simultaneous price increase across the country

Northern region

Today's live pig price (December 24, 2024) in the Northern region recorded an increase in prices in the provinces of Hung Yen, Hai Duong , Nam Dinh, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, traders in the North are purchasing live pigs at around 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Today, many provinces are trading at 69,000 VND/kg, including: Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc and Nam Dinh, Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang and Thai Binh.

The remaining localities in the region have common live pig prices ranging from 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 24, 2024) in the Central Highlands region recorded price adjustments in the provinces of Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Lam Dong and Dak Lak , all increasing by VND 1,000/kg.

Currently, traders in the Central region are purchasing live pigs at around 64,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. Of which, Thanh Hoa province has the highest live pig price in the region at 68,000 VND/kg, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Nghe An provinces all reached 67,000 VND/kg.

The price of live pigs is currently fluctuating from 64,000 - 66,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities in this region.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 24, 2024) recorded price fluctuations in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap and Hau Giang, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 63,000 and 67,000 VND/kg. Of which, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau are the localities with the highest prices in the region, reaching 67,000 VND/kg.

On the contrary, Kien Giang, Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces still maintain the lowest price in the region at 63,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today continues to increase in all three regions, in which many northern provinces set a new peak of 69,000 VND/kg. According to a survey, the price of live pigs nationwide is commonly fluctuating from 63,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.
