Construction of houses for people started simultaneously on December 1st

The Provincial People's Committee has just announced the Conclusion of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan at the meeting to discuss solutions to support housing construction for households whose houses collapsed, fell, or were swept away and needed to be rebuilt due to storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) and heavy rain from November 15 to 20.

Accordingly, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan agreed with 3 models of storm and flood shelters to apply for construction according to the proposal of the Department of Construction.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and Provincial People's Committee Chairman Ta Anh Tuan surveyed flood shelter design options to build for people.

At the same time, the Department of Construction is assigned to coordinate with localities to urgently review all data on collapsed, washed away, severely damaged and flooded houses, to be completed before 10:00 a.m. on November 29; to organize a simultaneous groundbreaking ceremony for newly built houses and severely damaged houses in need of repair on December 1, 2025 and to be completed before January 15, 2026.

The Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Construction to review and study the construction of cultural houses and community houses associated with flood shelters in villages and hamlets frequently affected by natural disasters; advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize a program to call for and support the construction of houses for households affected by storms and floods.

The Department of Finance needs to proactively propose and guide the level of support from the budget and guide the implementation of other mobilized sources to build and repair houses for the people.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the entire province simultaneously start building houses for people affected by floods on December 1, 2025.

Communes and wards must urgently count the damage and coordinate the timely construction and repair of houses. Localities that have not suffered damage must establish at least one construction team to support affected communes and wards as assigned by the Provincial Party Committee.

Assign the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to coordinate and balance support and funding sources to ensure effective and practical housing construction for people.
