Increase in all three regions

Northern region

Today's live pig price (December 31, 2024) in the Northern region recorded a price increase again in Bac Giang , Vinh Phuc, and Tuyen Quang provinces, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, traders in the North are purchasing live pigs at around 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Bac Giang is the province with the highest live pig price in the country at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities in the region have common live pig prices in the range of 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 31, 2024) in the Central Highlands region also recorded an increase in the provinces of Quang Nam, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, all increased by 1,000 VND/kg and Binh Thuan increased by 2,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region fluctuates between 64,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

Lam Dong reached the highest level in the region at 69,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the price of live pigs in Binh Thuan and Dak Lak increased to the same level as Thanh Hoa, reaching 68,000 VND/kg; Quang Nam increased to 66,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces had prices ranging from 65,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 31, 2024) also recorded price fluctuations in the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 64,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh both reached 69,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region; Ho Chi Minh City reached 68,000 VND/kg; Dong Thap and Binh Phuoc reached 67,000 VND/kg. Currently, live pigs in the South are being bought and sold at around 64,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
