Dong Nai hosts the Festival of Typical Families of Southern Provinces and Cities in 2026

(DN) - On September 16, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son signed a document to send to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL), Department of Finance on approving the policy of hosting the 1st Festival of Typical Families of Southern Provinces and Cities in 2026.

The first festival of typical families of provinces and cities in the Southern region is expected to take place in July 2026, with the participation of 9 provinces and cities including: Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Can Tho, An Giang, Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City.

Within the framework of the festival, there will be exchange activities, honoring typical cultural families; contests, folk games, cultural and artistic exchanges; exhibitions of images and documents about Vietnamese families, typical families...

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with the Representative Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City and relevant departments, branches, units and localities to implement.
