Due to the impact of heavy rain that lasted from the night of November 11, many roads in Xuan Bac commune were deeply flooded and the water flowed rapidly.
At about 10:15 a.m. on November 12, the Commune Police received a report from local residents that an elderly woman and several family members were trapped in floodwaters in the above-mentioned area.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Commune Police Command directed the police force and the grassroots security team to urgently approach the flooded area, using ropes, life jackets and rescue vehicles to bring the old woman out of the dangerous area.
By around 11am the same day, the old lady had been brought to a dry, safe area and was in stable health. Authorities continued to assist the family in evacuating their belongings, while also monitoring the flood situation and being ready to respond in case of an emergency.
According to Xuan Bac Commune Police, the water level in Suoi Ret area is still rising due to water flowing from upstream. People are advised not to move through deeply flooded roads, to proactively prevent and ensure safety of life and property.

* On the same morning, the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command mobilized more than 200 officers and soldiers to promptly go to the grassroots and closely coordinate with commune and ward forces to help people move their properties, clean up mud, clear water flows, and clean up the environment after floods.
Accordingly, in the morning, heavy rain caused localized flooding in wards and communes such as Long Khanh, Bao Vinh, Binh Loc, Xuan Dinh, Xuan Phu... affecting people's lives and activities.
In particular, the militia force coordinated with the ward police to promptly assist in evacuating an old woman in ward 21 (Long Khanh ward) from the deep flooded area.
