Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc said that the province's economic growth in May was better than in the months in the first quarter of 2025. Revenue collection work closely met the assigned targets.
However, there are still shortcomings and limitations that need to be focused on overcoming in the coming time, such as: disbursement of public investment capital is still low; planning and site clearance work is still slow; land auctions have not been successfully implemented; production and business activities in some industries and fields are still difficult; digital transformation and innovation have not met development requirements; the epidemic situation in the province is still complicated; the implementation of social housing projects is still slow; the implementation of industrial parks to attract investment to create momentum for growth has not ensured progress as required; the security and order situation has many potential risks, especially forms of fraud via social networks.
