At the conference on the implementation of tasks for the Dong Nai industry and trade sector in 2026, held at the end of January, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Vu Ngoc Long, shared: In 2026, the Dong Nai industry and trade sector will focus on developing industry, trade, and services. Specifically, the industry and trade sector will coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and localities to promote investment in large-scale logistics centers, linked to ports, Long Thanh Airport, inland container depots (ICDs), border gates, and inter-regional transportation routes. It will also develop wholesale markets and modern commercial centers, linked to digital transformation and e-commerce, expanding market space for businesses.
According to the Dong Nai Provincial Statistics Report, in January 2026, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in Dong Nai were estimated at 40.5 trillion VND, an increase of 2.57% compared to the previous month and an increase of 13.97% compared to the same period in 2025.
