Of the total FDI projects granted investment registration certificates in the 11 months of 2025, there were 148 new investment projects with a total investment capital of more than 1 billion USD; 172 projects were granted capital increase adjustments with a total capital increase of over 1.4 billion USD. With this result, Dong Nai continues to be among the leading localities in the country in attracting FDI.
More quality FDI projects
With the result of attracting nearly 2.5 billion USD in investment capital, the FDI attraction sector has reached 132% of the 2025 plan (nearly 1.9 billion USD).
According to the assessment of the Provincial Industrial Parks and Economic Zones Management Board, in 2025, the board will continue to implement the policy of attracting projects with large investment capital, using advanced technology, skilled labor, and projects in the field of supporting industry. At the same time, limit projects using a lot of unskilled labor, small scale, outdated technology, affecting the environment... to ensure compliance with the province's investment attraction orientation.
Dong Nai currently has 51 countries and territories with enterprises investing in Dong Nai province with over 2,200 projects, total registered investment capital of over 42 billion USD.
Some licensed projects are large-scale, such as: Mapletree Logistics Park Tam An 1 project of Saffron Logistics Asset Holdings PTE.LTD (Singaporean enterprise) in Tam An Industrial Cluster, An Phuoc commune, total registered investment capital of 101.1 million USD; Quest Composite Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. project (Cayman enterprise) with total registered investment capital of nearly 40 million USD, in Nhon Trach VI Industrial Park; Midwest Pets Vietnam Co., Ltd. factory project (Singaporean enterprise) with investment capital of 27.8 million USD, in Becamex Industrial Park - Binh Phuoc ; Pingfu Home Products Co., Ltd. factory (US project) increased capital by over 37.6 million USD, bringing total investment capital to 80 million USD, in Minh Hung - Sikico Industrial Park; Hayat Kimya Vietnam Co., Ltd. Factory capital increase project (Dutch project) increased investment capital by 29.4 million USD, bringing total investment capital to 158 million USD, at Becamex Industrial Park - Binh Phuoc...
In addition to the plan to attract FDI projects exceeding the year's assigned plan, the disbursement of investment capital for projects has also been implemented and achieved remarkable results. By mid-November 2025, the disbursement value of FDI projects in industrial parks and economic zones in Dong Nai province reached over 1.6 billion USD (while the Management Board registered a plan to disburse FDI investment projects to achieve the double-digit economic growth target of 1.5 billion USD).
The countries and territories with the highest number of projects and total investment capital in industrial parks and economic zones in Dong Nai province are: Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore...
Efforts to attract FDI
Dong Nai province is focusing on developing the industrial sector to become one of the pillars of the economy. Accordingly, by 2030, Dong Nai's industrial parks are oriented to become modern, ecological processing and manufacturing industrial centers (modern, ecological industrial parks). Dong Nai is striving to achieve the basic industrial development targets approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 586/QD-TTg, dated July 3, 2024 and Decision No. 1259/QD-TTg, dated October 24, 2024 (these targets are being reviewed and adjusted to suit the new situation).

Sharing about Dong Nai's potential, Ms. Kawasaki Minako, Deputy Head of the Representative Office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Ho Chi Minh City, said: Dong Nai province has begun to enter the operational phase with new administrative boundaries after the merger. This reorganization creates broader connections in infrastructure and industrial development foundation, promising to strongly promote the development of the Southern key economic region.
Ms. Kawasaki Minako emphasized: The strengths that Dong Nai has accumulated over the years, including the production ecosystem, human resource supply capacity and favorable investment environment, are opportunities for Dong Nai to continue to strongly promote new potentials in a new look. Japanese enterprises are placing high expectations on the potential of this large region. JETRO will also continue to accompany and support Dong Nai to further develop as a key industrial center of the Southern region.
Dong Nai province is ready to coordinate and share information on cooperation and investment opportunities and hopes to receive support and connections to build an effective and sustainable friendship and cooperation relationship between Dong Nai province and other countries and territories in the coming time.
