In implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on "Promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style" in conjunction with building a civilized urban area, the Ham Ha residential area Party branch has implemented many practical solutions, creating clear changes in the awareness and actions of cadres, Party members, and the people.
Comrade Pham Van Sinh, Party branch secretary and head of Ham Ha residential group, said: The Party branch has assigned specific tasks to each mass organization, promoting propaganda through Party branch meetings, people's meetings, and community activities, thereby widely spreading the learning and following of Uncle Ho's teachings in people's lives. At the same time, it actively mobilizes people to participate in the emulation movements "All people unite to build a cultured life," building a civilized, safe, and model neighborhood; effectively mobilizing social resources to invest in and upgrade the infrastructure of the residential area.
Furthermore, the staff consistently demonstrated a spirit of closeness to the people, promptly understanding and resolving their legitimate concerns and aspirations. As a result, Ham Ha residential area mobilized residents to donate 635 square meters of land to expand roads; dismantle 26 gates, 24 auxiliary structures, and 7 single-story houses; and contribute thousands of man-days of labor. Simultaneously, they installed 483 flagpoles along the alleyways and 105 security cameras, with a total cost exceeding 180 million VND. To date, the residential area has met all criteria and has been recognized as a model neighborhood.
Inspired by President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, over the years, Mr. Nguyen Quy Linh, from Tho Phat residential area, has strived to overcome difficulties, worked diligently, actively participated in labor and production emulation, enriched his family, and contributed to building his homeland. Recounting the early days of his business, Mr. Linh shared: “Previously, due to difficult family circumstances and a lack of capital, finding a way to develop the economy faced many obstacles. My family grew medicinal plants, but the yield was low and the market was unstable. Since participating in training courses on scientific and technical transfer organized by the government and the farmers' association, I boldly converted 2 hectares of land previously used for rice and medicinal plants to growing peaches, kumquats, and Dien pomelos... From a few hundred initial trees, my family has now developed 1,500 peach trees, over 1,000 kumquat trees, and 100 Dien pomelo trees. On average, after deducting expenses, the model generates a profit of about 1.5 billion VND per year, creating regular jobs for 5 workers and 10 seasonal workers in the locality.”
In implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo, Dong Son ward has comprehensively implemented many solutions, deepening the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. 100% of cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, and association members have developed individual action plans, registering specific and practical tasks linked to their responsibilities and duties; clearly defining goals, progress, and results, serving as a basis for year-end review and evaluation. The Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee assigns Party committee members to regularly attend meetings at the grassroots level, promptly grasping the situation, thoughts, and aspirations of cadres, Party members, and the people, thereby improving the effectiveness of leadership and guidance in carrying out political tasks. Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, and units have linked the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh through the effective implementation of patriotic emulation movements and the fulfillment of political tasks in the locality. At the same time, focus on resolving complaints and petitions, addressing outstanding and long-standing issues, and fostering consensus among the people...
