Dong Thap: Received over 300 units of blood.

(DONG THAP) On the morning of April 29th, at the Provincial Children's House, the Dong Thap Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated the organization of a voluntary blood donation program in response to the 2026 Humanitarian Month. With the message "Every drop of blood given saves a life," the event attracted a large number of officials, soldiers, and citizens to participate.

The program received over 350 volunteer applications. Through thorough screening, the Organizing Committee received over 300 units of blood that met the required standards.

The entire process, from admission and health check-up to testing and blood collection, is carried out systematically and scientifically, ensuring strict compliance with medical safety regulations.

From early morning, a large number of people were present, proactively undergoing health checks as instructed. The participants were diverse, including police and military personnel, officials, civil servants, teachers, medical staff, and local residents. Many individuals had experience donating blood multiple times, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and perseverance in their journey of sharing for the sake of life.

According to the receiving unit's representative, the collected blood will be promptly added to the safe reserve, serving practical needs for emergency care and treatment at medical facilities.
