On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), the Cinema Department is screening 5 films in the documentary and animation genres.
Specifically, the film series will screen three documentaries: Diplomatic Steps and an Unwanted War produced by Vietkings Media Joint Stock Company, Professor Ta Quang Buu - Patriotic Scientist produced by Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio Joint Stock Company and Keepers of the Soul of the Land produced by Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company.

In which, the film Diplomatic Steps and an Unwanted War revolves around President Ho Chi Minh . This is also the second part of the documentary Ho Chi Minh 1946 , with part one being widely shown during the 80th anniversary of the birth of the Outline of Vietnamese Culture earlier this year.
The film about Professor Ta Quang Buu introduces the portrait of a talented scientist, former Deputy Minister of National Defense under General Vo Nguyen Giap as Minister. Professor Ta Quang Buu is also the one who laid the foundation for the field of science, technology and military technology in Vietnam.
In the animation genre, the film series has two works: Mother's Dream produced by Vietnam Animation Studio Joint Stock Company and Crossing the Black Water Road produced by Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company.
Among them, the animated film "Dream of Motherhood" is an allegory about sacred maternal love. The film was posted on the official YouTube page of Vietnam Animation Studio, reaching a large number of views, up to over 958,000.
Regarding location, the series will be shown at cinema centers, cultural centers of provinces and equivalent facilities nationwide.
