It is forecasted that between tonight, November 25 and early tomorrow morning, November 26, the tropical depression will likely strengthen into a storm, enter the East Sea, and become the 15th storm this year, causing waves up to 9 meters high.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 1 p.m. today, November 25, the center of the tropical depression was at about 10.4 degrees north latitude and 121.3 degrees east longitude, in the sea west of the central Philippines.

Near the center of the tropical depression, the strongest wind is at level 7, equivalent to a speed of 50 - 61 km/h, gusting to level 9 and is moving west-northwest, at a speed of about 30 km/h. It is forecasted that between tonight, November 25 and early tomorrow morning, November 26, the tropical depression will likely strengthen into a storm, entering the East Sea, becoming storm number 15 in 2025.

Forecast until 13:00 tomorrow, November 26, the storm center is over the sea area in the middle of the East Sea, wind intensity level 9, gust level 10.

Notably, after entering the East Sea, the speed of storm No. 15 began to slow down, only 20 - 25 km/hour.

Forecast by 1:00 p.m. on November 27, the storm center is at 12.6 degrees north latitude and 114.0 degrees east longitude, with a strong intensity of level 10. The storm is moving west-northwest, with a speed decreasing to 10-15 km/hour.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that from this afternoon, November 25, due to the influence of the tropical depression, it will strengthen into storm No. 15. The sea area east of the central East Sea will have winds gradually increasing to level 6 - 7. The area near the center of the storm will have strong winds of level 8 - 9, gusts of level 11, waves 4 - 6 m high, and very rough seas.

It is forecasted that between the afternoon of November 26 and 28, the central area of ​​the East Sea, including the sea area north of Truong Sa special zone, will likely be affected by strong winds of level 10 - 11, gusting to level 14. Waves will be 7 - 9 m high, and the sea will be rough.

Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, strong winds, and large waves./.
