Total rainfall is generally from 40 to 100mm/period, in some places over 150mm/period. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Warning of the risk of heavy rain (over 60mm/3 hours). Specifically, in the communes and wards of Van Ninh, Dai Lanh, Dong Ninh Hoa, Tay Ninh Hoa, Khanh Vinh, Tay Khanh Vinh, Dien Khanh, Nha Trang, Thuan Nam, rain will be 40-80mm/period, in some places over 100mm/period; in the areas of Khanh Son, Tay Khanh Son, Bac Ai, Ninh Son, Phan Rang, Cam Ranh, Cam Lam, Ninh Hai, Thuan Bac, Ninh Phuoc, rain will be 50-100mm/period, in some places over 150mm/period.

From December 5th to 12th, Khanh Hoa province will have scattered rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms in some places. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Heavy rain may cause flooding in low-lying areas; it is necessary to guard against the risk of landslides in areas with steep terrain and weak geological foundations. In addition, thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning and strong winds can cause roofs to be blown off, trees to be broken and fallen, injuring people and livestock.
