The mysterious ancient wooden ship lying on Hoi An beach, Da Nang , was almost buried by sand on November 11, leaving only the beams protruding 20-30cm above the sand. The reappearance of the ship after many months of "disappearance" has attracted the attention of many locals and tourists.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lac, 60 years old, a local resident, was present at the ship's location on the morning of November 11 to observe.

According to Mr. Lac, the ship suddenly emerged clearly on November 8 after months of no trace. However, just one day later, on November 9, the ship was buried again by sand. By the morning of November 11, only the beams around the ship's side were visible.
At the scene, Mr. Lac became an "unwilling tour guide" when a group of foreign tourists expressed curiosity about the ship.
With his available English and updated information from the press and body language, Mr. Lac enthusiastically explained to the group of tourists about the history and reappearance of the ship.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu, 60 years old, a local resident, also visited the ship for the first time after hearing the news. Ms. Thu expressed her excitement at seeing the ship in person. She also did not forget to take some photos to share with her friends.
Not only locals, many tourists from Da Nang, Hue, Quang Ngai and international guests staying in Hoi An also come to admire the ancient ship.

Ms. Larke, a tourist from Denmark, expressed her wish that the ship would be excavated and brought to a museum to serve research on its age, shipbuilding techniques and the type of goods it transported.
On the afternoon of November 11, Mr. Pham Phu Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Hoi An World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center, said that he had consulted with the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Da Nang City on a plan to urgently excavate the ship.
"I have advised the leaders of Da Nang city to urgently excavate the ship and bring it to Hoi An Museum for display, preservation, research and tourism purposes," Mr. Ngoc emphasized.
