Tourists to Hai Duong in 7 months increased by nearly 58%

Of which, domestic visitors were 1,550,010, up 58.16%; international visitors were 44,260, up 52%. Total revenue reached VND695,724 billion, up 53.39%.

In July alone, the number of tourists to Hai Duong reached 126,237, an increase of 44.25% over the same period in 2023 (domestic visitors 121,286, an increase of 44.2%; international visitors 4,951, an increase of 45.5%). Total revenue was 72,095 billion VND, an increase of 44.67%.

The number of tourists in the first 7 months of the year increased sharply due to the areas and destinations focusing on developing tourism with many attractive experiential services; improving service quality; widespread propaganda and promotion; and investment in infrastructure.

Stork Island has also been a tourist attraction in recent times.

In particular, the Con Son-Kiep Bac relic site (Chi Linh city), Kinh Chu-Nham Duong (Kinh Mon town) are completing the steps to propose recognition as world heritage sites; the national scenic relic of Co Island in Chi Lang Nam commune (Thanh Mien) is recognized as a provincial-level tourist site... attracting the attention of many tourists.

In July alone, Hai Duong held the XV exam to select excellent students of specialized high schools in the coastal and Northern Delta regions in 2024, the 2024 National Youth Archery Championship... attracting a significant number of guests to the accommodation areas.
