"We had prepared 10,000 servings, but we didn't expect so many enthusiastic people to come. The staff was busy serving but couldn't keep up. By noon, almost all the dishes were gone. This afternoon, if there are any left, we will serve more," said Mr. Viet.
According to Mr. Viet, the company has also participated in many big events, but the A80 exhibition is the biggest and most crowded event ever. The dishes invited to people and tourists to enjoy for free have the typical flavors of the land of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, where the culinary quintessence of Vietnam converges as well as the place to give wings and elevate many traditional Vietnamese dishes to fly far and spread all over the world.

Because there were so many tourists wanting to enjoy the delicious food, each person could only choose one favorite dish. If they wanted to eat something else, they had to line up again from the beginning.
Ms. Duong Thi Tam's family, from Hung Yen, said: "I heard that the program only takes place on the closing day, so I definitely had to come here to enjoy the food. I like Saigon broken rice, and my husband likes iced milk coffee. I didn't expect to come here and also enjoy the spring rolls. This dish is like spring rolls dipped in soy sauce, has a rich taste, is quite unique, and easy to eat."

The dishes are invited for free for locals and tourists to enjoy, bringing the typical flavors of Saigon.

By 1 p.m., many tourists were still coming by, but many of their favorite dishes were gone. Mr. Dao Viet Anh, from Thanh Oai (Hanoi), shared: "We arrived early in the morning, not knowing what to eat, then we were informed that there was a free culinary experience program at the Ho Chi Minh City booth, so we came here and were surprised by the banh mi. But in the early afternoon, when I came back for the second time, there was only banh khot left. I was quite regretful that I could not enjoy all the cuisine here."
As a leading tourism enterprise accompanying Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the A80 event, Mr. Pham Huy Binh, Chairman of Saigontourist Group, emphasized: "We not only contribute to introducing the socio-economic achievements but also bring culture, especially the typical culinary culture of Ho Chi Minh City to the public. This gratitude activity is a testament to our commitment to spreading good values, contributing to the overall development of Vietnam's tourism industry."
