It is expected to spend nearly 89 billion VND to renovate and improve roads at the southern gateway of Hai Duong city.

Renovation and embellishment of the southern gateway of Hai Duong city is an important content considered at the 3rd meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in February.

Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee agreed with the proposals of the Department of Planning and Investment on renovating and embellishing the main roads from the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway to the center of Hai Duong city. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban emphasized that renovating and embellishing these roads is necessary, creating a landscape highlight for Hai Duong province in general and Hai Duong city in particular. Therefore, Hai Duong city and related departments and branches should study and choose suitable renovation and embellishment options, using the province's logo for decoration and identification.

According to the proposal, the project investment scope is on sidewalks and medians, traffic islands on 3 sections. Including sidewalks and medians on Truong Chinh Street from Cat Bridge intersection to Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue intersection with a route length of about 3.1 km. Sidewalks and medians on Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue from Nguyen Luong Bang Street to Lien Hong Commune intersection with a route length of about 4.8 km. The connecting road from Lien Hong intersection to Hanoi- Hai Phong Expressway intersection has a route length of about 4.1 km. At the sections, some trees will be replaced, additional flower beds will be planted to create highlights, a system of tree spotlights and decorative light boxes will be installed on both sides of the median strip, and the old technology traffic lighting system will be replaced with LED headlights... The total estimated investment is nearly 89 billion VND.
