Speaking with VietNamNet , Dr. Luu Huu Duc, Head of the Training Management Board (Academy of Finance) predicted that the benchmark scores for the academy's majors in 2025 will likely range from 21 to 27 points, not as concentrated as in 2024 (26.03 to 26.85 on a 30-point scale and 34.35 to 36.15 on a 40-point scale).

Mr. Duc said that, with the situation of high school graduation exam scores and forecast of labor market demand, for industries/training programs with high job demand, the benchmark score in 2025 is expected to fluctuate slightly up/down compared to last year. Meanwhile, some industries expanding their training scale will decrease by 2-3 points compared to 2024.

"The wide range of benchmark scores will be an opportunity for candidates to be admitted to the academy if they register their wishes for the right majors," said Mr. Duc.

However, according to Mr. Duc, the traditional majors that the academy is strong in and some newly opened majors with high social demand (the quota for new majors is low, 50 quotas) will have a high predicted standard score. These are majors such as: Finance and Banking, Accounting, Auditing, Marketing, Business Administration or new majors such as Data Science ,...

International joint training programs usually have lower benchmarks than other programs of the academy. Currently, the Academy of Finance enrolls students in 2 international joint training programs including: DDP program in cooperation with each party to grant 1 bachelor's degree and Joint training program with Toulon University - Republic of France.

Mr. Duc added that this year, the admission threshold score (floor score) of the academy has also decreased by 1 point compared to last year in all majors/training programs.

Mr. Duc added that at the end of 2024, the Academy of Finance put into operation a new facility in Hoa Lac High-Tech Park with an area of over 28,000m2. Previously, in November 2023, the academy also put into operation a lecture hall block at the facility in Duc Thang ward, Bac Tu Liem district ( Hanoi ) on an area of 12 hectares. It is expected that in 2025, the academy will receive another facility in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing the total number of training facilities to 6.

According to Mr. Duc, the tuition fee for the standard program of the Academy of Finance is from 20-28 million VND/school year; the international certificate-oriented program is from 50-55 million VND/school year; the international joint program ranges from 60-75 million VND/school year (joint with the UK from 70-75 million VND; joint with France from 60-70 million VND).

Every year, the Academy of Finance also allocates 8% of total tuition revenue to provide scholarships to encourage learning for eligible students; the highest scholarship is 50 million VND/year.
