On November 26, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Y Ngoc chaired a meeting to give opinions on the 2026 New Year Welcoming Art Program and Mang Den Culture - Tourism Week and Cherry Blossom Season 2026.
At the meeting, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on preparations for the organization of Cultural Heritage Week; New Year's Eve Program 2026 and Mang Den Cherry Blossom Festival 2026.

In addition, Cultural Heritage Week, with activities: Workshop "Solutions to build and develop Ly Son tourist area to become a national tourist area"; Exhibition of images, documents, artifacts; books, newspapers, publications introducing cultural heritage, historical relics; Space for performing and practicing cultural heritage.
The 2026 New Year's Eve program is scheduled to be held on December 31 at Pham Van Dong Square, Cam Thanh Ward and March 16 Square, Kon Tum Ward.
Mang Den Cultural - Tourism Week - Cherry Blossom Season 2026, scheduled to be held from January 2 - 6, 2026 in Mang Den commune, with activities: Culinary space - OCOP - Arabica Coffee Competition; Hot air balloon festival - "Flying over the mountains and forests & Cherry Blossoms"; Visiting tourist areas and spots of Mang Den Eco-tourism Area; Ceremony to welcome the first tourist group to Quang Ngai in 2026.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Ngoc requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to develop a plan for each program and activity with specific details on content and time; ensuring the series of events are organized seamlessly and effectively.
For the 2026 New Year's Eve program, which will be held on December 31, the art program must have the strong mark of Quang Ngai province, harmoniously combining coastal culture with Central Highlands culture to create a unique and meaningful art night. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and coordinate with agencies, units and localities to develop an implementation plan.
