According to representatives of tourist areas and attractions, this is the last peak tourist season of the year, but it is also a holiday that attracts a large number of tourists, so the establishments decorate their destinations impressively to welcome visitors and the new year.
Bringing the spirit of spring to the destination.
Dong Nai currently boasts several famous tourist areas and attractions that draw tourists from both within and outside the province, such as: Bo Cap Vang Eco-tourism Area (Phuoc An commune); Ula Resort Glamping (Tan Khai commune), Suoi Mo Tourist Area (Tan Phu commune), Chua Chan Mountain cultural and spiritual tourism destination (Xuan Loc commune), Son Tien Eco-tourism City (Long Hung ward), Buu Long Tourist Area (Tran Bien ward), Cat Tien National Park (Nam Cat Tien commune), Bu Gia Map National Park (Bu Gia Map commune), Ta Thiet Base (Loc Ninh commune), Tri An Lake area (Tri An commune)... During each peak tourist season, these destinations attract hundreds of thousands of visitors for sightseeing, recreation, and accommodation, especially during the Lunar New Year.
As is customary every year, during the spring season, Buu Long Tourist Area invests in and prepares decorations to serve visitors. Mr. Nguyen Danh Thinh, Acting Director of Buu Long Investment and Development Co., Ltd., shared: "Every year during the New Year, Buu Long Tourist Area is usually brightly decorated, filled with flags and flowers to welcome the new year and serve tourists who come to visit and experience. In particular, the company focuses on creating a space to serve businesses and organizations holding year-end parties for their employees."
Mr. Thinh added: The tourist area will prepare tens of thousands of fresh flower pots in various colors, along with new miniature landscapes and experiential tourism spaces to serve visitors. Besides redecorating the tourist area, the unit will also have special art performances and a traditional market space with many folk dishes. Notably, for many years, Buu Long Tourist Area has not increased its entrance fee. The unit maintains the price of 150,000 VND/ticket for adults; 60,000 VND/ticket for children between 1 and 1.4m tall; children under 1m tall are admitted free of charge.
Located not far from Ho Chi Minh City, the Bo Cap Vang eco-tourism area attracts a large number of visitors during the year-end tourist season for sightseeing, recreation, and entertainment during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year). Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang, Director of the Bo Cap Vang eco-tourism area, said: With the theme "Spring in the Countryside - Connection & Serenity," Bo Cap Vang will create a spring-themed space with unique miniature scenes such as: Calligrapher's Street - calligraphy writing; a rural market space - lucky tree, Bo Cap Vang flower street, Tet New Year's pole, giant decorated banh chung and banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes)... These will be the distinctive highlights of Bo Cap Vang for visitors during the peak season at the end of the year. Mr. Sang further shared: “Every year during the Lunar New Year, the Golden Scorpion Tourist Area welcomes thousands of visitors. Besides the scenic spots that are highlights, during this time, the Golden Scorpion Tourist Area also offers impressive and delicious dishes such as: chicken grilled in an earthenware pot, grilled snakehead fish served with fresh vegetables wrapped in rice paper, grilled wild boar meat, fermented fish hotpot, catfish hotpot, grilled river shrimp with chili and salt… which are very popular with tourists.”
As a pioneering unit in organizing surveys and promoting destinations to develop tourism products in the northern part of Dong Nai province connected with Long Thanh International Airport, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Trang, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, said: Many businesses highly appreciated the tourism potential of the destinations after the survey trip. Ms. Trang hopes this will be an opportunity for tourism in the northern part of Dong Nai province in particular and Dong Nai tourism in general to develop together, attracting domestic and international tourists. Especially when Long Thanh International Airport becomes operational, tourism products in the northern part of Dong Nai province will be strongly promoted, becoming world-class destinations.
Adding new tourist destinations.
Following the provincial merger, Dong Nai province's tourism landscape has gained new vibrancy in the northern part of the province. Destinations include: Bu Gia Map National Park, Ta Thiet Base… Notably, recently, the northern area of Dong Nai province has seen the addition of new destinations with impressive scale and natural scenery such as: Ula Resort Glamping (Tan Khai commune), and Sunrise Farm (Dong Xoai ward).
With its lush green natural surroundings and impressively designed photo spots, Ula Resort Glamping is one of the newly opened destinations in Tan Khai commune. Covering approximately 20 hectares, Ula Glamping is designed into several zones with impressive natural landscapes, including: a glamping area nestled amidst refreshing greenery; a pine forest and cool stream area; an artificial beach and SUP pool, and archery area; and a cultural center area recreating thatched houses, ancient villages, film sets, and Hoi An Old Town, offering spacious areas for group activities, games, team building, or outdoor excursions.
Mr. Mai Van Duc, Director of Chuyen Di Viet Travel Company Limited, said: Ula Glamping is a new destination with many exciting experiences for tourists. In particular, it has many beautiful photo spots for visitors, especially women and young groups. Besides entertainment, accommodation services at Ula Glamping are also quite good. In the future, Chuyen Di Viet will develop a tourism route connecting several destinations in the northern part of Dong Nai province. Mr. Duc expects this to be a new tourism product with completely new "flavors" for tourists in the southern part of Dong Nai province and neighboring areas such as Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, and the Central Highlands…
