
During the four-day holiday from April 30th to May 1st, Da Nang City welcomed hundreds of thousands of tourists who came to visit, relax, and experience the city.

These days, tourist attractions and entertainment venues are packed with visitors.

Hoi An Ancient Town is on the list of destinations for almost every tourist visiting Da Nang .

The attractions in Hoi An Old Town, such as the Japanese Bridge, An Hoi Bridge, and Fujian Assembly Hall, are always crowded with people.

The streets of the old town are also packed with people, especially in the late afternoon and evening.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc (32 years old, a tourist from Hanoi) shared: “I have been to Hoi An 3 times, and each time it was crowded, but I didn't feel overwhelmed. Besides the ancient houses, the people of Hoi An are friendly, and the food is delicious, so even though I've been there many times, I always come back here.”

Despite the large crowds of visitors, Hoi An ancient town still retains its unique, peaceful, and tranquil charm that cannot be found anywhere else.

To welcome visitors during the April 30th - May 1st holiday, Dong Giang Sky Gate Eco-tourism Area is organizing many activities to experience the culture of the Co Tu ethnic group.

Among these, the highlight is the experience of spending a day as a local.

Tourists dressed in traditional Co Tu clothing check in and experience the daily life activities of the Co Tu people, such as making buffalo horn-shaped cakes and wading in streams to catch fish.

Participate in and immerse yourself in traditional Co Tu folk games and cultural exchange.

According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, during the April 30th - May 1st holiday, the number of tourists visiting the city is expected to increase by 15% compared to the same period in 2025.
Over a period of 9 days (from April 25th to May 3rd), Da Nang City received 1,460 flights.
Da Nang also became the most searched-for destination by Vietnamese people in April 2026 on the online travel platform Booking.com.
