Inspired by the timeless melody "How Beautiful Hanoi Is," the "Hanoi Beautiful Sound" series of events, taking place from December 19th to 21st at Hanoi Book Street, offers a new approach to night tourism in the capital, where sounds, urban memories, and creative experiences together tell the story of Hanoi at night.

The program took place from December 19th to 21st at the Hanoi Book Street 19/12, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi City. This activity was in response to the Hanoi City Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Program 2025, chaired by the Hanoi Department of Tourism and organized in coordination with the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward, aiming to revitalize night tourism experiences and spread the cultural values of the capital city through a modern approach.
According to the organizers, "Hanoi Beautiful Sound" is built on the idea that Hanoi at night possesses a unique beauty, stemming not only from its landscapes and people, but also from its rich cultural life and music deeply embedded in every urban space. "Sounds, art, and emotions are chosen as a connecting thread for the community, helping residents and tourists experience Hanoi through listening and experiencing," a representative of the organizing committee shared.
By recreating the distinctive sounds of Hanoi, from its heritage sites and streets to its nightlife, the program aims to create an experiential, culturally rich, and accessible night tourism product. The organizers believe this is a way to awaken love and pride for the capital city, while promoting Hanoi as a safe, friendly, and attractive night tourism destination for both domestic and international tourists.
The opening night on December 19th was considered the highlight of the series of activities, featuring many visually appealing and engaging promotional elements. These included the screening of videos showcasing Hanoi's night tourism products and tour routes, giving visitors an overview of the city's evolving night tourism landscape. Simultaneously, the "Hanoi Culinary Tourism Map" was officially launched, and the "Hanoi Beautiful Sound" night cycling tour was introduced as a new experiential product aligned with the green tourism trend.
According to the organizers, the opening night's artistic program was elaborately staged, featuring choral performances and musical pieces using various instruments. The music in the open space of Hanoi Book Street created a multi-layered sonic tapestry, simultaneously modern and reminiscent of the capital's traditional values.

Over the course of three days, "Hanoi Beautiful Sound" offers locals and tourists the opportunity to experience a wide range of emotions through a series of events designed to blend physical activity, enjoyment, and creative interaction.
One of the highlights is the "Hanoi Beautiful Sound" night bike tour, featuring diverse themes such as food tours, art tours, heritage tours, and city tours. This product is offered through the TNGo public bike app, allowing tourists easy access and the ability to proactively choose their own itinerary to explore Hanoi at night.
The organizers stated that incorporating nighttime cycling tours into the series of activities not only aims to diversify nighttime tourism products but also conveys a message about a green, environmentally friendly lifestyle. "Cycling at night allows visitors to experience Hanoi at a slower, deeper pace, listening to the city with multiple senses," a representative from the organizing committee commented.
Simultaneously, the "Hanoi Food Tourism Map" is being implemented with interactive activities conducted by the online food ordering application Shopeefood. Visitors can check in at the designated spots within the program, share their experiences on social media, and participate in mini-games with prizes including discount vouchers for food orders at the food court. This approach helps connect culinary experiences with nighttime tourism, creating a sense of closeness and appeal for young people.
Another notable aspect of "Hanoi Beautiful Sound" is the design of numerous creative and interactive spaces right in the heart of Hanoi's Book Street. Throughout the program, artistic performances and interactive shows are held at the main stage and auxiliary stages, creating a continuous and vibrant cultural atmosphere.
The decorated space is thoughtfully designed, combining visual and auditory elements, blending the festive spirit of Christmas with traditional Hanoi materials. Food carts, gift shops, and displays of Hanoi tourist souvenirs create a self-contained experience, catering to the sightseeing, enjoyment, and shopping needs of visitors.
Within the framework of the program, the Dinh Ty Book Fair was also organized with many activities for readers and visitors. From book display and exhibition spaces to workshops such as "A Magical Christmas with Dinh Ty Books" or "Welcoming the New Year by Doing Something New," the Book Fair contributed to enriching the cultural depth of the night tourism activities.
In particular, the "Hanoi Beautiful Sound Studio" is designed as an open space where visitors can experience the sounds of Hanoi, try out musical instruments, and create their own melodies. The CD painting and decoration workshop at the "Remarkable CD Workshop" offers everyone the opportunity to express their love for Hanoi through unique and creative products.
The organizers expect that, through the "Hanoi Beautiful Sound" series of activities, the fields of cuisine, entertainment, and promotion of the capital's cultural image will be synchronously boosted, gradually forming a complete night tourism space with high quality and distinct identity.
According to the organizers, the development of night tourism should be seen as an important component of Hanoi's night economy. "The experiential, creative, and community-interactive activities within the program are steps to test and refine the product, thereby moving towards making night tourism the main product in the development of the capital's night economy," the organizers emphasized.
