Dong Nai tourism industry is facing the opportunity to develop strongly thanks to many favorable factors. Transport infrastructure, especially Long Thanh International Airport and Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway, which is about to be completed, is considered an important lever to attract a large number of visitors. Along with that, Cat Tien National Park has just won 4 international eco-tourism awards, continuing to strengthen the green tourism direction that the province is pursuing.

At the same time, Dong Nai is promoting regional promotion and connectivity to build diverse tourism routes; successfully organize the 2025 Tourism-Culture Week; develop community tourism models; promote digital transformation and build a smart tourism ecosystem.

In the service sector, in the first 11 months of 2025, Dong Nai recorded revenue of nearly 73,000 billion VND, an increase of 23.7% over the same period. Some service sectors with strong growth include: Arts, entertainment and recreation increased by 30%; real estate business increased by 26.3%; administration and support increased by 20.8%; health care and social assistance increased by 19.8%; education and training increased by 19.7%...

Dong Nai is implementing many large-scale tourism projects such as: Chua Chan Mountain Eco-tourism and Resort Area (Xuan Loc Commune) with an area of 107 hectares and an investment capital of about 16,000 billion VND; the project at Mai-Bau Nuoc Soi Waterfall Tourist Area (Dinh Quan Commune) with an investment capital of about 3,000 billion VND; 10 eco-tourism projects under the forest canopy at Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve (Tri An Commune)...

When put into operation, the airport is expected to welcome about 70,000 passengers/day; by phase 2, it will welcome about 300,000 passengers/day. This is considered a great advantage that few localities have, opening up strong opportunities for Dong Nai to attract international and domestic tourists to visit, relax and experience.

The province is researching the construction of 5 tourist routes that directly exploit the advantages of Long Thanh airport, including: Route from Long Thanh airport to the provincial administrative center and Tri An; route from Long Thanh airport to Dau Giay, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu, connecting Da Lat (Lam Dong); route from Long Thanh airport to Long Khanh city, Xuan Loc, connecting Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan); route from Long Thanh airport to Cam My, connecting with Ho Tram (Ho Chi Minh City); route from Long Thanh airport to Nhon Trach, Long Thanh to exploit the mangrove forest system, Long Thanh ecological forest, and tourist attractions on the river.

With a series of positive signals from infrastructure, tourism products to business resources, Dong Nai is assessed to be "holding in hand" a great opportunity to break through and affirm a new position on the tourism - service map of the Southeast region and the whole country./.
