This is a practical activity towards the celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23) and the opening of the Cultural Heritage Week of Dak Lak province's ethnic groups in 2025.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, Deputy Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, said: Quoc Tu Giam was established in the late 11th century of the Ly Dynasty, as a place to honor the sages and a place of study for the Crown Prince and royal children.
Over the past 900 years under the Ly, Tran, and Le dynasties, the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam has increasingly developed and expanded to become the highest and largest educational center of the Vietnamese monarchies, where thousands of great scholars and talented people of the country were trained.

Today, the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam is a special national relic, a symbol of Vietnamese intelligence, a place to preserve and honor the nation's precious traditions such as the tradition of studiousness, respect for teachers, respect and appreciation of the country's talented people.
The relic still preserves unique architectures of the Le and Nguyen dynasties such as Dien Dai Thanh, Van Mieu Mon, Khue Van Cac, and a system of worship statues. In particular, the system of 82 doctoral steles, where the names and hometowns of 1,307 successful candidates of 82 examinations held from 1442 to 1779 are engraved, is a world documentary heritage, a national treasure.
The relic is now an important and leading destination of the capital and the whole country, annually welcoming millions of tourists to visit, learn, and research, and is the destination of hundreds of important diplomatic delegations of the Party and State, including many delegations of heads of state and thousands of other diplomatic delegations...

The exhibition “Special National Relic of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam” at Dak Lak Museum includes a system of paintings, photos, documents and selected artifacts, vividly reflecting the history, architecture and educational value of the relic.
The exhibition space is divided into many attractive topics such as: Overview of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam and typical architectural works such as Khue Van Cac, Dai Trung Mon, Bai Duong house;... Famous people and tradition of Vietnamese mandarinate with Doctorate Steles - World documentary heritage recognized by UNESCO.
In addition, at the exhibition, people will enjoy images of cultural, scientific, heritage education, foreign affairs, scientific seminars; displays, workshops, and night tours of the Temple of Literature.

In particular, the exhibition space at Dak Lak Museum is decorated with inspiration from the image of gongs - the cultural symbol of the Central Highlands, creating a harmony between the heritage of Thang Long-Hanoi and the culture of the great mountains...
Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, Deputy Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, shared: "The exhibition will help the people of the Central Highlands in particular, and tourists nationwide in general, to better understand the value of a precious heritage of their ancestors, thereby encouraging the studious spirit of the people, especially the young generation of the Central Highlands ethnic groups; at the same time, it is a meaningful activity in enhancing exchanges and connections between two lands rich in identity - Thang Long and the Central Highlands".
"This is an opportunity to spread the spirit of studiousness, respect for teachers, honoring knowledge and bringing the heritage of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam closer to the ethnic communities of the Central Highlands," Mr. Nguyen Van Tu emphasized.
