Bringing the value of President Ho Chi Minh's relics to serve tourism development

That was the information given at the conference summarizing the project "Promoting the value of President Ho Chi Minh's relics in Hue City to serve tourism development" for the period 2021 - 2025 organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City on November 13.

This project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee (now Hue City). The general objective of the project is to orient the development of museum tourism and the system of memorial sites of President Ho Chi Minh on the basis of exploiting and promoting potentials and advantages, meeting the needs of sightseeing and tourism, in accordance with the planning and key programs for tourism and service development of Hue.

In addition, it is necessary to increase the attraction of investment capital to renovate and embellish the system of memorial relics of President Ho Chi Minh; innovate the display at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, creating a red address for educating patriotic traditions, and at the same time being an attractive cultural and historical tourist destination, attracting visitors.

Accordingly, the project implementation process, the work of restoring and embellishing the system of President Ho Chi Minh's memorial relics associated with tourism development; the innovation of the museum display system has been vigorously implemented, investment has been made to expand a number of relic sites; and a cultural space has been created in accordance with the relics. Every year, 5-6 thematic exhibitions are opened at the museum, including in-depth topics, thoroughly applying innovative display solutions, with rich and attractive forms, attracting a large number of visitors, students and people of Hue City.

In addition, the work of collecting and collecting documents and artifacts for display at museums and memorial sites of President Ho Chi Minh in Hue is always focused on and regularly organized. In the period of 2021-2025, the collection work will bring back to the base warehouse to serve the display of nearly 300 artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh and the theme of revolutionary war.

The project has also upgraded the Ho Chi Minh Museum's general information website, promptly updated news on museum activities, information and documents about President Ho Chi Minh, promoted the museum and Uncle Ho's memorial site in Hue City. Built promotional channels for the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the relics, set up Facebook and YouTube pages to update information on activities. Built a thematic exhibition about President Ho Chi Minh using 3D technology to promote on the internet environment...

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee and the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City for their outstanding achievements in participating in the project implementation.
