Attending the program were Mr. Ha Quoc Cuong, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater; Dr. Doan Ngoc Xuan, Principal of Thu Dau Mot University; along with members of the Board of Directors and nearly 1,000 students of the school.
The performance program consists of three chapters: "Triumph Song", "Construction Song" and "Aspiration to Reach High".
In a warm artistic space, the medley of Doan Ve Quoc Quan - For the people, forgetting ourselves , Cau ho ben bo Hien Luong , the dance work Con duong tren bien , the medley of Sai Gon quat khoi - Bao roi roi - Dat nuoc ton niem... captivated the audience with heroic voices and professional choreography.
Student Nguyen Thi My Hao, Faculty of English, emotionally shared: "I have learned many literary works praising patriotism, love for the Fatherland, especially about Uncle Ho. Today, I am very moved to watch literary and artistic works live on such a grand stage and with such careful investment."
Mr. Ha Quoc Cuong, Director of the City Drama Theater, said: The art performance program aims to introduce and popularize literary and artistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.
For the student generation, in addition to promoting and disseminating typical literary and artistic works, we want to nurture and cultivate in them noble ideals of life, love for the homeland, national pride and respect for President Ho Chi Minh.
The program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the success of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress in 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress; at the same time, it is an opportunity to look back on the 50-year journey of Ho Chi Minh City literature and art after the country's reunification.
