Duc Hoa closes the Sports Festival - National Defense of the Armed Forces

From April 5 to 8, 2024, Duc Hoa District Military Command organized the 2024 District Sports and National Defense Festival of the Armed Forces.

This sports festival has 20 commune and town military command boards with 240 militia and self-defense athletes participating in events such as 3 combined military events for men and women, and armed swimming for men and women.

Athletes competing in military sports

With a sense of responsibility and determination, the athletes competed with all their might. After 3 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 23 prizes to the delegations, teams and individuals with high achievements. The delegations participated in all the contents according to the regulations, many units maintained the movement and improved their achievements, including many athletes breaking the 2023 record.

At the end of the sports festival, Hau Nghia town unit won first place overall, Duc Hoa Ha commune unit won second place, My Hanh Bac commune unit won third place. For the 03-sport combined military team award for men, first place went to Hau Nghia town unit, second place went to My Hanh Bac commune unit, third place went to Duc Hoa town unit; for the 03-sport combined military team award for women, first place went to Duc Hoa town unit, second place went to Hoa Khanh Nam unit, third place went to Duc Hoa Ha commune unit.

Awarding first, second and third prizes to outstanding units

The Organizing Committee also awarded first, second and third prizes to all-round individuals in the 03 combined military events for men and women. In which, athlete Nguyen Nhon Quy, Hau Nghia town unit won first prize for men and athlete Le Thi Kieu Trinh, Duc Hoa Ha unit won first prize for women.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee also awarded first, second and third prizes to the best athletes in the male/female armed swimming category; in which the first prize in male armed swimming category belonged to athlete Huynh Ngoc Thuong Giang, Hau Nghia town unit; and the first prize in female category belonged to athlete Nguyen Thuy An, Duc Lap Ha unit./.
