Recently, the episode “Lost House” in the series “Don’t let regrets” on THVL1 with the participation of Huynh Phu, Le Thy and Nhat Vy depicted the silent wounds in a family always immersed in quarrels. When parents are always competing, the most heartbroken person is the child who is longing for a proper home. And only when children have negative behaviors, adults suddenly wake up.

The story begins with a family meal scene between Nhi and her parents, a seemingly peaceful and happy moment for every family. But unfortunately, in just a moment, the tense back and forth between the parents accidentally broke that warmth. The constant arguing made Nhi advise her parents many times but to no avail, she could only silently witness, feeling the coldness gradually creeping into every corner of the house.

The meal ended in an unhappy mood, like the last straw. Too tired and hurt, Nhi decided to leave, leaving only a letter filled with her feelings to her parents. After reading the letter, they were shocked, regretful and together went to look for their daughter in pain and worry. Their daughter's shocking decision was like a wake-up call for Nhi's parents. That was when they truly realized their mistake, when they put their personal egos above their children's happiness.

Finally, the story ends with Nhi returning home, bringing a lesson that makes both her parents and the audience ponder: family happiness does not come from who is right or wrong, but from listening, giving in and understanding. A child does not become lost, but because adults have forgotten how to love each other. The episode is a reminder that as long as parents lower their ego and maintain warmth, even a simple home will become the most peaceful place for their children to return to.
“Don't regret” airs regularly at 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday on THVL1.
