In particular, provinces and cities such as Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Nam Dinh, Hanoi, Bac Giang and Thai Binh have the highest live pig price in the country at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities in the region have common live pig prices in the range of 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 29, 2024) in the Central Highlands region recorded stable prices. Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region fluctuates between 64,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

In particular, Dak Lak has had a continuous increase in live pig prices in the past few days, along with Thanh Hoa, which has the highest price in the region at 68,000 VND/kg. Quang Tri, Quang Nam , Quang Ngai and Khanh Hoa recorded the lowest price in the region, reaching 65,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Pig prices in the Southern region today (December 29, 2024) also recorded stability after many consecutive days of price increases in some provinces such as Dong Thap, Hau Giang...

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 64,000 and 68,000 VND/kg. Of which, Kien Giang, Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces still maintain the lowest price in the region at 63,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs increased rapidly in the first sessions of the week and gradually cooled down in some northern provinces during the weekend. Currently, the price of live pigs nationwide is fluctuating from 64,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
