Car stopped in the middle of National Highway 1A, many people jumped out to fight

On November 14, the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Quang Ngai Province Police said that the unit had received and urgently verified the content of the video clip of a passenger bus and a container truck stopping in the middle of National Highway 1A, with people on both vehicles jumping out and fighting.

According to initial information, at around 11:30 a.m. on November 13, a camera of a person traveling on National Highway 1A through Mo Duc commune recorded a short video clip of a passenger bus suddenly stopping, followed by a container truck that also stopped.

Immediately after, many people from two cars rushed out, surrounded and beat a man who collapsed in the middle of the road. Although a woman tried to stop them, the group continued to aggressively punch and kick the victim repeatedly. Notably, the incident took place right at the lane dividing line at the curve, forcing other vehicles to swerve to avoid a collision.

After escaping the crowd, the beaten man ran towards the container truck cabin and got into the driver's seat, while the attackers quickly got back on the passenger bus and left.

Traffic Police Department leaders said this was a hooligan act, causing disorder and posing a high risk of accidents on the vital traffic route National Highway 1A.

"We are coordinating with the police of the commune where the incident occurred to verify, clarify and strictly handle the violation," he said.

The police also called on people involved in the video and witnesses to cooperate and provide information to assist in the investigation.
