Road 15B (the extension of Nguyen Luong Bang Street) is one of the key infrastructure projects in the South of Ho Chi Minh City, which is identified as playing an important role in completing the traffic network and connecting to the Can Gio Bridge project. This route runs parallel to Huynh Tan Phat Street, starting at Nguyen Van Linh Street and ending at the temporary wharf area near Rach Dia.

The project to build Road 15B was approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council in 2015. However, the project has not been implemented yet because the city has not balanced its capital sources. Currently, preparations for inventory and compensation for site clearance are ready to be implemented as soon as capital is available.

The Phu Xuan 2B bridge project is about 660 m long and 30 m wide, with a total estimated investment of 754 billion VND from the city budget. Like Road 15B, this project was also approved in principle in 2015 but has not been implemented.

The early implementation of these projects is a necessary step in the context of the South Saigon area being promoted with infrastructure investment with a series of other projects such as Thu Thiem 4 bridge, Nguyen Khoi road and bridge, expansion of National Highway 50 and Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway.
