“The Storyteller” episode 3: N Ly’s performance makes singer Duong Hong Loan reveal her untold love story for the first time. Famous singer Thai Chau humorously “envies” Doan Bao An’s beauty. Nam Cuong “feels happy” when listening to Tuan Kha sing.

After an impressive round 1, “The Storyteller 2025” entered round 2 with the theme “Poetic Days”. The competition night was a journey back to youth, with the participation of two guest judges: the first season champion - singer Nam Cuong and singer Duong Hong Loan, alongside the regular judge, famous singer Thai Chau.

In this episode, N Ly performed the song “Old Road” with a pure love story, evoking youthful memories. Her soft voice and natural performance not only won over the audience but also unexpectedly “unlocked” the memories of judge Duong Hong Loan.

The female singer first confided: “Hong Loan herself is an artist, also has memories of many lovely love affairs. Besides her life partner, when performing, there are also people who secretly love her. The story that N Ly told on stage today is very beautiful, very innocent. Hong Loan feels young again. Remembering the memories of the past. Also loved by many people like that.”

Famous singer Thai Chau also expressed his emotion, saying that N Ly's play evoked memories of the audience who "silently loved and accompanied" him.

With the advantage of a bright stage appearance, Doan Bao An with the song "Duong xa wet mua" was praised by judge Duong Hong Loan as "very handsome, very poetic acting". Judge Nam Cuong was also impressed by the "deep masculine voice" of the male contestant.

In response to the compliments about Bao An's appearance, famous singer Thai Chau humorously joked that he was "jealous" and "felt small when standing next to such guys". However, returning to his profession, the famous male singer highly appreciated Bao An's acting background: "Your acting is very deep, your dialogue is good". He also advised Bao An to practice to "absorb the melody, absorb the lyrics", avoiding being influenced by acting.
