After having the materials, the construction unit accelerated the progress to ensure the project was completed as committed.
After nearly 2 years of construction to widen the road from 9 m to 44 m, Ton Duc Thang Street has been basically completed and is expected to open to traffic on December 19, 2025. The main technical infrastructure of the project has been completed; of which, package 13 is 100% complete, and package 7 is about 75.8%.
The project has a total investment of nearly 640 billion VND, with a construction period of no more than 4 years. The route is built according to the standards of urban road type 9, with a design speed of 80 km/h for the main road and 60 km/h for the branch road, with a length of more than 3.8 km.

Regarding the accelerated progress, the Project Management Board of Region 6 said that recently, due to the scarcity of 4x6 stone materials, the project progress has been affected, so the unit has proposed that the province supplement about 10,000 m³ to ensure completion on December 19, 2025 as committed.

Route 25B is the main traffic axis connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Nhon Trach commune and towards Highway 51. This route also intersects with the Ring Road 3 project - a key project of the Southeast region. When the project is completed and put into use, travel and freight transport will be more convenient, creating a driving force to promote the socio -economic development of the locality and neighboring areas.
