Pig price today, January 1, 2025, recorded an increase in some provinces and cities in the Central Highlands and Southern regions.
Northern region
The price of live pigs today (January 1, 2025) in the Northern region remained stable on the first day of 2025. Currently, Northern traders are purchasing live pigs at around 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

Hanoi and Bac Giang are the provinces with the highest live pig prices in the country at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities in the region have common live pig prices in the range of 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region
On the contrary, the price of live pigs today (January 1, 2025) in the Central Highlands region continued to increase in the provinces of Quang Binh , Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg.
Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands fluctuates between 64,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong reached the highest price in the region at 69,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, live pigs in Binh Thuan and Dak Lak reached the same purchasing level as Thanh Hoa, reaching 68,000 VND/kg; Quang Nam reached 66,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces had live pig prices ranging from 65,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region
Similarly, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (January 1, 2025) also recorded an increase in prices in the provinces of Binh Duong and Ben Tre, reaching VND 68,000/kg and VND 67,000/kg, respectively.
Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 64,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh have the highest price of live pigs in the region, both reaching 69,000 VND/kg.
In general, the live hog market today continues to increase in the Central and Southern regions. Surveys show that live hogs nationwide are being traded at around 64,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
