Mr. Nguyen Tien - Head of the Duy Xuyen District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee said that after 15 years of implementing the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization", the whole district has registered and implemented more than 1,000 models in all fields; of which 165 models have achieved positive results, spreading in the community (148 collective models, 17 individual models).
From the movement, many models emerged, typical examples of "skillful mass mobilization" such as: "Love Garden" model, "Garden Economic Development", "Duy Son Lotus Cooperative", "Youth Entrepreneurship", "Mobilizing Farmer Association members to contribute revolving capital without interest", "Building civilized urban areas"...
In particular, over the past 15 years, Duy Xuyen people have agreed to donate 314,000 square meters of land, contribute more than 133,000 working days and more than 210 billion VND to build rural infrastructure.
Speaking at the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thi Thuy Dung requested Duy Xuyen District Party Committee to continue to specify the tasks and viewpoints set forth in Resolution 35 dated December 8, 2023 of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee on improving the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work in the province.
Develop specific programs and plans associated with political tasks, aiming at the goal of taking the people as the root, the center, the subject and driving force of development, serving the practical interests of the people. Local Party committees and authorities must be closely attached to the people.
Strengthening innovation in the content and methods of Party leadership in mass mobilization work, focusing on three major orientations. These are: linking mass mobilization work with building a strong Party in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; linking mass mobilization work with the political tasks of each locality and unit; relying on the people to build the Party and taking the people's trust, happiness and satisfaction as the goal to strive for.
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee Huynh Thi Thuy Dung also suggested that Duy Xuyen continue to select models and typical examples of "skillful mass mobilization" in the period 2009 - 2024 that are truly effective for replication. At the same time, build and disseminate new models with unique features, focusing on quality and quantity, focusing on new, difficult, and specific tasks according to the major policies of the province and locality.
At the conference, Duy Xuyen district awarded 20 outstanding collectives and individuals in the emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization" for the period 2009 - 2024.
